"Hot Chocolate Soul"

As a lover of music, I’ve been very disappointed with the recent turn in the industry overall. It’s seems as though no one is really sticking to “Real Music” and those that do, don’t seem to get the recognition they deserve. Having grown –up listening to “Greats” such as Nat King Cole, Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin and many others, it appears as though  we are missing that “Soulful” arena of talent in today’s music. Outside of American Idol, there is really no platform to showcase some of today’s upcoming talent, well that is all about to change!
I present to you, “Hot Chocolate Soul”! 10 years in the making, “Hot Chocolate Soul” is a delicate balance between music, comedy and poetry – the ultimate performance showcase (“Soul Train” meets “Showtime at the Apollo” meets “Def Comedy Jam”) Hot Chocolate Soul is a musical production showcasing R&B music, comedy, and poetry backed by a live band. The Event highlights some of today’s hottest rising stars and entertainers. Artists are enhanced by The Karl Browne and Smooth Improvisation Band.  The Host, June Archer, along with the special guests and talent, make “Hot Chocolate Soul”  a cultural endeavor for all lovers’ of art and entertainment to indulge in.
Starting out as an event held in Hartford, CT the 2nd Friday of each month; Hot Chocolate Soul will be  taping its Pilot episode. The taping will be done July 30th in San Diego at Anthology!

Not only do I support this project  from the Talent aspect, but from a Fashion Perspective as well! I will be Styling the Host, June Archer, “The Black Ryan Seacrest” for all you Fashion & Entertainment Guru’s! So Stay Tuned…REAL MUSIC LIVES and You Can Find it at “Hot Chocolate Soul”!
Please support and Checkout Hot Chocolate Soul on Myspace and Twitter!
