CHYVONNE

NYFW will be starting next week and it will a first time for some designers!

Small Boutique Fashion Week will be focusing on up and coming designers who will be making their debut on the Runway!  One of my fabulous contacts via Audrey Smaltz and The Ground Crew ,Chyvonne Cantey, will be one of those designers!

Born and raised in NYC, Chyvonne always had a passion for fashion. Since the age of 10 she used to sew clothes for her dolls. After realizing her gift, Chyvonne decided to attend FIT where she mastered her skill set. After perfecting her trade, Chyvonne went on to work for a fashion company where she was able to utilize her craft while gaining more insight into the business of fashion.  Now after 5 years of learning all the tricks of her trade, Chyvonne is ready to launch her first Pre-Fall  collection this Fashion Week!

This collection will have inspiration from many amazing eras of fashion, dating as far back as the 1800s and as current as the 1970s.

This Ready to Wear, jetsetter line will be able to make a woman not only look and feel feminine, but it will elude enthusiasm and confidence!

If you love embellishments and looking for an easy transition from work to evening attire, than this is the collection for you! In a few words, Chyvonne describes the collection as Chic and Elegant, with a bit of Funkiness and Edge! Think of a rising Alexander McQueen, as that is one of Chyvonne’s design inspirations!

In high anticipation as I know you are to see this chic compilation, you will have to wait until its unveiling February 8th!

If you would like to attend the show please check out the details on the Flyer below and purchase tickets at www.smallboutiquefw.com

You know LADICHIC always keeps you current on what’s NEW, NEXT and OH SO CHIC!

Make sure you show up and show out to this support this Fabulous Fashionable Event!

Loyalty is Royalty

Nardesigns Creator and Graphic Designer, Bernard Campbell, started a movement back in 2010 called Loyalty is Royalty.

At the end of 2011 a clothing line was launched and it sparked attention of a few investors, but when creative differences arised that didn't stop Bernard's hustle.
Now with regained control of the brand, Bernard is looking to move forward making the movement bigger and better!

The Inspiration behind the Slogan, "Loyalty is Royalty" is simple
LOYALTY: Faithful; Trustworthy
ROYALTY: Status;Power
Put the two together you have a priceless promotion:
Quality is always better than Quantity...
Hard Work and Dedication are always key components in any type of relationshi: business or personal!

With a few fashion shows behind his belt and stores selling the line...the Loyalty is Royalty Movement is continuously looking for ways to expand!

Fringe Frenzy

A Quick and Easy Way to add Embellishment to your look is by wearing Fringe!

Considered a Fancy and Flamboyant adornment, Fringe has been using throughout history to decorate garments for Native Americans and Mediterranean Cultures; Found mostly in scarves and skirts, this trimming become more modernized when we saw it's evolution from Western and Hippie Styles, to now being a trendy commodity for Spring/Summer Looks of 2011.

Present in almost every garment from shirts, dresses, jackets, pants, bikinis and even accessories ( jewelry, shoes and handbags) this ornamentation like any other trend should not be abused when wearing the look.  Fringe is a highly noticeable addition to any look, so opt for a single item when using this component. Remeber the key is too look Chic NOT Clownish, so keep it simple and attractive.
