NYFW will be starting next week and it will a first time for some designers!

 

 

Small Boutique Fashion Week will be focusing on up and coming designers who will be making their debut on the Runway!  One of my fabulous contacts via Audrey Smaltz and The Ground Crew ,Chyvonne Cantey, will be one of those designers!

Born and raised in NYC, Chyvonne always had a passion for fashion. Since the age of 10 she used to sew clothes for her dolls. After realizing her gift, Chyvonne decided to attend FIT where she mastered her skill set. After perfecting her trade, Chyvonne went on to work for a fashion company where she was able to utilize her craft while gaining more insight into the business of fashion.  Now after 5 years of learning all the tricks of her trade, Chyvonne is ready to launch her first Pre-Fall  collection this Fashion Week!

This collection will have inspiration from many amazing eras of fashion, dating as far back as the 1800s and as current as the 1970s. 

 This Ready to Wear, jetsetter line will be able to make a woman not only look and feel feminine, but it will elude enthusiasm and confidence! 

If you love embellishments and looking for an easy transition from work to evening attire, than this is the collection for you! In a few words, Chyvonne describes the collection as Chic and Elegant, with a bit of Funkiness and Edge! Think of a rising Alexander McQueen, as that is one of Chyvonne’s design inspirations!

 

 

In high anticipation as I know you are to see this chic compilation, you will have to wait until its unveiling February 8th!
