Designer Arzo Anwar
This season marked Donna Karan’s 25th Anniversary in business, and her collections just get more fabulous each season. The S/S 2011 RTW was a nice fusion of sensuality and elegance. Nude colors of tan, honey and saffron were noted colors of this collection, frayed backdrop and even sand on the runway to give a desert feel. The garments ranged from slip gowns, to jackets with biased cuts, all detailed with metallic twills and drapings.

SOHO House Hotel
1:30pm & 3pm
Emma Hill Creative Director of Mulberry is fabulous, sweet and very protective of her designs! Showing 2 back to back presentations at the SOHO House rooftop, every detail of the show was amazing.
Life-sized red roses scattered the backdrop and the pool, while trompe l’oeil line drawings decorated the room! All the models had red hair, and get this, a French bulldog made his debut on the runway with 2 of the models! Mulberry “It Girl” Alexa Chung was part of the audience and they gave away a signature Mulberry Tote gift bag during the after party!
The collection was very feminine, a nice combination of frills, rosettes and ruffles. Colors palette were pastels with a touch of faded denim. The Shoes and Hanbags were fabulous as well, all pieces were coordinated to fit each outfit to a "T".

The State at Lincoln Center
Making a stunning splash in her Spring/Summer RTW Collection, Nanette Lepore’s show was absolutely Gorg! The collection was very retro-inspired with amplified rose prints and flowing fabrics. The eyecatching pieces along with the sweet sultry sounds of John Forte’( formerly of the Fugee’s) were relaxed and inviting.
