With the rapid change of weather, here we are in the midst of Fall.  I was overly excited when I came across a unique Atlanta Based Designer Devon Hall.

My introduction to Devon’s work was a shared post by one of my friends who lives in Atlanta; she posted a pair of Devon’s crocheted boots and I was in Fall Fashion Heaven!

Devon Hall, Cleveland Native, learned how to crochet a granny square at an early age and by time she was 20 she started her very own collection Devon J.  Devon, moved to Atlanta in 2002 to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta to study Multimedia and Web Design. Ever since, Devon has been trying to make an impact in the Atlanta market with her personally crafted crochet designs.

Devon’s company Novedad Ink Ltd, is a parent company with several subsidiaries, one of those being The Devon J Collection. Novedad is Spanish for a state of new things; extraordinary thing, innovative; and I believe Devon’s designs are just that!  The Devon J Collection is a unique assortment of hand-made sensually sexy crocheted women’s wear. Currently working on a selection of handbags and pet items, Devon is hoping that her clientele will really evolve over the next few years. Devon is definitely trying to boost that business by marketing herself utilizing Facebook and Twitter where she is definitely creating a buzz!
